Boston Wedding Photographer

Andy Heller at Heller Photography has been a Boston wedding photographer serving eastern Massachusetts for over 17 years. Nothing is more comforting than knowing your photographer has the skill and expertise to guide you through one of the most memorable days of your life. Many brides have fantasized about their wedding day from the time that they were little girls. Buying a gown, picking out invitations and selecting the members of the bridal party are just some of the elements that contribute to your successful Boston wedding. Choosing your Boston wedding photographer will top the list of important decisions you'll have to make. There are so many things to consider when hiring your wedding photographer. I'll go into some detail on some of these topics.

Does your photographer have the experience to deal with a wide variety of circumstances? Sometimes things don't always go as planned, and it's up to your photographer to adapt to these conditions. Your photographer should be a fast thinker, quickly able to scout photo locations and evaluate scenes, backgrounds and lighting. Unfortunately, time on your wedding day can move much faster than you ever could have imagined. Every minute of your day is precious, so an experienced photographer is absolutely essential to the smooth flow of your day. My goal is to pose your groupings artistically and efficiently, creating the images that you expect yet allowing you the time to enjoy the festivities of your day, the atmosphere of your venue and of course the company of your guests. All but one of my photo packages comes with the services of a photography assistant. This person will assist me throughout the day, dispensing equipment, keeping track of any requested photos and providing an extra pair of hands when needed. Heller Photography feels that including the services of photography assistant is of great benefit to you when seeking your Boston wedding photographer.

When evaluating a potential wedding photographer there are a couple of elements that are often overlooked. So much time is spent looking at wedding albums and beautiful wall portraits that the photographer's personality and attitude are considered to be less than important. Nothing can be further from the truth! How many of your wedding service vendors will spend at least seven hours with you, your family and guests? Personality and attitude should be a major consideration when condidering a Boston wedding photographer. When you meet with a photographer you should feel comfortable speaking to him/her, get a sense of his knowledge and confidence and try to imagine what it might be like to spend the day with this person. Will they provide a calming influence or will they make you nervous? Will they be assertive enough to maintain control during a sometimes hectic family photo session or will they be too quiet or shy to be effective? Rest assured when I tell you that I couldn't remain in business as a Boston wedding photographer without the interpersonal skills and attitude required to help you feel relaxed on your very special day.

The final piece of the puzzle for many brides and grooms is creating the wedding album itself. The wedding is now over, guests have gone home and the wedding gown is stored away in your closet. You'll need some assistance when it comes to creating this album, and this is where I'll touch upon the concept of "service after the sale". Andy Heller at Heller Photography will be there for you, assisting with the many choices needed to create the album of your dreams. I'll assist you with your selection of album cover colors and materials, mat styles and will even provide you with a "hands-on" introduction to the online album building software if you've chosen a package which includes this option. If you're in the market for a truly professional Boston wedding photographer I urge you to pick up the phone and call Andy at Heller Photography today.
